7 Good Reasons Why You Should Invest In A Premium WordPress Theme

Are you on the fence about purchasing a premium WordPress theme for your site? I have 7 reasons why you should invest in a premium WordPress theme for your blog.

I remember after I purchased my domain name from Bluehost (purchase a Bluehost domain for less than 3.95 per month), I was given tons of free WordPress themes I could use to build my website. After looking through tons of free themes, I finally got frustrated and just picked one.

The frustration was because none of the free themes was really what I envisioned for my website when I decided to start a blog. Because I knew how important it was to have a website that caught the attention of my site visitors, while still being user-friendly and versatile.

After a few weeks of blogging, I started to get site envy. You know what I’m talking about…it’s the feeling you get when you go to a beautiful website, and you’re like oh that’s pretty.

But guess what, having a beautiful website doesn’t have to cost a fortunate, and you don’t have to hire a professional website designer.

Some people decide not to buy premium themes because there are a ton of free WordPress theme available online. However, I’m going to tell you why you should be using a high-quality WordPress theme for your online shop, or blog.

Disadvantages of Using A Free WordPress Theme

The most important reason is for search engine optimization. Free WordPress themes are not always compatible with mobile, which is a key ranking factor with Google.

If your website is not mobile friendly, you might be being penalized by Google.

Older web designs can be slower than premium WordPress themes. Having a site with a slow page loading time, will definitely hurt your SEO score, as well as deter your site visitors.

Most people will give you a hot 3 to 4 seconds of their time before they are on to the next thing.

Free WordPress themes are also limited in the features and functionality. So if you are running an eCommerce website or an online store, you definitely do not want to use a free WordPress Theme.

Free WordPress themes are also more susceptible to being hacked. Because the footer links to the developer’s own website and can be an entryway for botnets, redirects, and malware. (bad stuff you don’t want corrupting your data files). These things can also cause you to have a high bounce rate and horrible SEO.

Benefits of Premium WordPress Themes

Premium WordPress themes are highly customizable. You can customize your theme to reflect your personality. As well as have the website features that you need to run your business.

They are SEO optimized. When you purchase a theme from WordPress themes like elegant themes or Bluchic, their themes come fully SEO optimized.

An SEO optimized WordPress theme is a huge step in the right direction to boosting your organic traffic to increase your sales and brand awareness.

In addition, Premium WordPress themes come with regular updates and free support.

  4. Good thing I have followed what I wanted, and that is to buy a theme. I was never satisfied with a free theme, I didn’t buy it from WordPress though, but on Etsy. There are a number of gorgeous themes on Etsy, and I am satisfied with my blog’s new look. No offense to WordPress, since WP has lots of beautiful premium themes too like Ashe and Rima, which I also bought before.
